Our church has provided religious services to inmates and detainees at Bristol County Sheriff’s Office as well as A.C.I. Cranston, Rhode Island for the past eighteen (18) years. We have in the past provided religious services to the inmates at M.C.I. Framingham as well.
Pastor Stephen Thompson serves as the lead Prison Chaplain. He is responsible for ensuring that all services are performed as required and in accordance with the needs of the Bristol County Sheriff’s Office as well as the ACI.
While Pastor Thompson also oversees the ACI prison ministry… Peter Lima heads up the Rhode Island ministry in its day to day operation. “Peter is a great man of God who is one of our deacons. He is a great leader”
Some of the services we offer include:

Teaching Biblical Theology classes by ordained Pastors and Elders.

Conducting Bible studies by Pastors, Elders, and Bible teaching volunteers.

Coordinating, supervising, and scheduling the use of Assistant Chaplains, Pastors, Elders, and volunteers.

Conducting Sunday and midweek services as determined by the needs of the Bristol County Sheriff’s Office.

Providing inmate pastoral counseling services as needed.

Performing other related assignments as determined by the Bristol County Sheriff’s Office.

Ensuring that all services provided by GGC will be in compliance with all pertinent laws, regulations, and standards.
