Paul has been married to his wife, Claire, since 1988.  They have one daughter, who also attends GGC with her husband and their daughter, April.  Paul has been attending Grace Gospel Church since 1985 and was ordained in 1993 as an elder.  He has been serving in the music ministry since the summer of 1985 and has been leading it since 1993.  Paul loves to follow his favorite sports teams (Boston Red Sox and New York Giants) and also enjoys going to the gym throughout the week.

JerryPJerry Parent 
Jerry and Suzanne have 5 children (Lisa, Jerry, Billy, Tara, and Liz) and 9 grandchildren (Korina, Timothy, Daniel, Will, Brayden, Addison, Brooke, Chase, and Logan). They have lived in Assonet, MA since 1976. Jerry served 28 years in the U.S. Army retiring at the end of 1991 as a Master Sergeant. Jerry and Suzanne have been attending Grace Gospel Church since September of 1995. He has been involved in overseeing several ministries during this time, including: Benevolence, Security, Special Events, Financial Stewardship and others. Jerry was installed as an elder in November of 2014 and assumed the office of Treasurer for the church. Since retiring, Jerry has earned several professional designations in the field of Financial Services including: CLU, ChFC, CASL, CLTC, LUTCF, and recently completed the Qualified Kingdom Advisor Program. He has an ASBM degree from Fisher College and a BSBA degree from Nichols College. Jerry and Suzanne both love to travel, read, spend time with their children and grandchildren and are diehard fans of the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins, and Celtics.

FredPFred Poulin 
Fred and Cindy have 2 children (Beth and Stephanie) and 2 grandchildren (Grace and Ethan). They have lived in Swansea area for 32 years. Pastor Fred was involved in Christian Education as a teacher for 4 years, then as a principal for 20 years. He has also served as an elder from 1988-1991 and was ordained as a pastor since 1991. He has also served in various ministries including Bus Ministry [past], assistant chaplain in prison ministry (1993-present), as well as a Biblical Counseling, Visitation Ministry, Outreach Ministry and Discipleship Ministry. Pastor Fred has degrees in[ BA] in Psychology from Westfield State College [now University], Biblical Studies from Maryland Bible College and Seminary, and a Masters Degree in School Administration from Eastern Nazarene College. Pastor Fred and Cindy love ministering to others, reading, outdoor activities such as: hiking, kayaking, and snowshoeing. Their desire is to serve God faithfully in ministry all of their days.

SteveTStephen Thompson 
Steve was ordained a minister in 1999 at Abundant Faith Family Church in East Bridgewater, MA. In 2001, Steve was hired at New England Christian Academy in Swansea, MA as a school chaplain, art director, and gymnasium teacher. At that time, he became a member of GGC and studied at New England Bible Institute for three years and received a Certificate of Ministry. Presently, he has earned a bachelor’s degree in Science/Religion at Liberty University. Between 2002 and 2005 Pastor Steve worked in the Nursing home ministry with the Community Chaplain Service in New Bedford, MA. Pastor Steve has been a member of Grace Gospel Church since 1994 where he has held many ministerial positions. Throughout his ministry he has served as a pastor, Youth minister, Sunday School teacher, Nursing Home Chaplain, Christian Academy Teacher, and Chaplain. Currently, he is one of the associate pastors and Elders of Grace Gospel Church and is heading up the prison ministry. Pastor Steve is the lead Prison Chaplain and Religious coordinator of the Bristol County Sheriff’s Office and has been since 2004. He also is a Board Member of the ICCA (International Christian Chaplain Association) as well as a prison chaplain trainer for this organization.  He also is a Board Member of the ICCA (International Christian Chaplain Association) as well as a prison chaplain trainer for this organization.
